Well, for beginners, I must say that a non-fungible token (NFT) is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable. NFTs can represent items such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files. People can buy or sell NFT tokens to transfer ownership of the art.

What does it mean to an artist?

Think about a painter who draws beautiful paintings and then sells them on an auction to make a living. Doesn’t he love his artworks? Of course, he does! But money is what keeps artists from keeping their artworks to themselves.

As a 3D Artist, they are some arts that the industry does not like. For example, look at the background of this page. A heart inside a diamond. Do you like it? Well, the industry doesn’t.
